SAP S/4HANA BASIS Consultant

Role Overview

The SAP S/4HANA BASIS Consultant is responsible for the technical
administration, configuration, and optimization of SAP environments, ensuring
system reliability, performance, and scalability. This role focuses on
implementing and managing S/4HANA systems across landscapes, supporting
upgrades, migrations, and integrations within complex enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

* Plan, install, configure, and maintain SAP S/4HANA systems (including Fiori,
Solution Manager, and other SAP components).
* Perform system copies, client refreshes, and transport management.
* Implement SAP Landscape Management (LaMa)



and Solution Manager for monitoring
and automation.
* Coordinate system upgrades, enhancement packs, and support package
implementations.
* Ensure high system availability and participate in disaster recovery and
high-availability setups.
* Troubleshoot performance and connectivity issues across SAP landscapes (DEV,
QA, PROD).
* Collaborate with functional, development, and infrastructure teams to ensure
seamless operations.
* Monitor system logs, background jobs, and security audits regularly.
* Maintain documentation for configurations, system changes, and procedures.

Required Skills

* Deep knowledge of SAP BASIS administration and S/4HANA architecture.
* Strong experience with SAP HANA DB administration and Linux OS environments.
* Proficiency in SAP Solution Manager, Fiori, and Transport Management System
(TMS).
* Hands-on experience with system monitoring tools, backups, and job
scheduling.
