Job Description

Position: Part time After School Teaching Assistant

Reports to: Kat Murphy-Woo, Assistant Director and Megan Gallagher, Executive Director

Overview

The Rise School of Denver is an inclusive,



non-profit early care and education center that supports young

children with and without developmental delays and disabilities and their families. We are currently

seeking part-time teammates for our After School Program (ASP). Ideal candidates for this position are

Assistant Teachers, Speech/Occupational/Physical Therapy Assistants, Registered Behavior Technicians,

and/or other applicants who desire being a part of a team that directly impacts young children and

families.

At Rise, ASP mirrors our stimulating, safe, and developmentally appropriate educational and therapeutic

classroom opportunities. ASP teammates are offered ongoing training and support to learn

evidence-based early childhood educational and therapy strategies from their other ASP teammates that

include Rise’s Occupational Therapy Assistant, classroom-based Therapy Assistant, and Rise’s team of

highly qualified Assistant Teachers.
