ABOUT THE TEAM
The role forms part of APAC Global Regulatory Compliance and acts as the second
line of defence for FIS payments products and services in India. The successful
candidate will provide independent regulatory compliance advice, oversight, and
challenge in line with the Global Compliance Playbook and applicable policies
and standards.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
* Monitor and interpret relevant Indian regulatory developments, including RBI,
CERT-In, and applicable payment-system requirements, and assess their impact
on FIS payments products and services.
* Advise business, product, technology, and legal stakeholders on regulatory
obligations, compliant solutions, and appropriate controls while maintaining
explicit first-line and second-line accountability.
* Oversee regulatory change, regulatory mapping, compliance risk assessments,
and reviews of new products, enhancements, and expansion into new
jurisdictions.
* Monitor implementation plans and compliance issues, validate supporting
evidence, challenge deficiencies, and escalate material or time-sensitive
risks.
* Review compliance-related client communications, RFPs, due-diligence
responses, and contractual provisions within the scope of second-line
oversight.
* Support governance reporting, regulatory examinations, and stakeholder
engagement in coordination with Regulatory Relations, Legal, and relevant
compliance teams.
* Maintain accurate and timely records in applicable GRC systems and contribute
to enhancements of the compliance framework.
* Escalate compliance matters requiring urgent or immediate attention to the
Head of the APAC GRC team.
