their payment needs by providing the most trusted, convenient and rewarding

Indian. The Transaction Settlement Unit (TSU), part of the Payments team,
Manages payment reconciliation for Amazon India’s Escrow and nodal accounts.
This role sits at the intersection of technology, operations, and finance. The
responsibilities include:

• Ensuring transactions in the PPI Escrow and Nodal accounts are compliant with
regulatory guidelines
• Managing end-to-end reconciliation to identify discrepancies, establish root
causes, and drive resolution through cross-functional stakeholder coordination
• Forecasting cash requirements, monitoring fund sufficiency in escrow accounts,
and coordinating with Treasury, Finance, and business teams to ensure
uninterrupted fund availability




• Front-ending regulatory and statutory audits for escrow accounts and reporting
to the regulator
• Preparing leadership updates and writing business requirement documents (BRDs)
to define and drive automation and process improvement initiatives
• Conducting UAT and providing launch support to ensure business readiness for
new system deployments

Key job responsibilities
-Manage the planning, execution, and delivery of reconciliation programs,
ensuring timely resolution of financial discrepancies and compliance with
established processes of Nodal and Escrow accounts
-Conduct deep dives into transaction data and financial metrics to identify
anomalies, root causes, and opportunities for process improvements
-Monthly substantiation- Daily identification, deep dive, escalation and closure
of exceptions by partnering with various world-wide teams
