The chance

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HSE Manager to lead, develop,
and implement comprehensive health, safety, and environmental programs across
Hitachi, Ltd. This role is crucial in fostering a proactive safety culture,
ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, and minimizing risks to
employees, the environment, and company assets.

How you'll make an impact

* Develop, implement, and maintain the company's Health, Safety, and
Environmental (HSE) management system, ensuring alignment with Hitachi's
global standards and local regulations.

* Conduct regular risk assessments, audits, and inspections to identify
potential hazards and non-compliance issues, developing and overseeing the
implementation of corrective actions.

* Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis,



and reporting for all HSE
incidents, ensuring effective preventative measures are established and
shared.

* Develop and deliver comprehensive HSE training programs for all employees,
contractors, and visitors, promoting a strong safety-first culture.

* Act as the primary point of contact for regulatory bodies, ensuring timely
and accurate reporting and compliance with all environmental permits,
licenses, and health & safety legislation.

* Manage and monitor environmental performance, including waste management,
energy consumption, emissions, and water usage, identifying opportunities for
continuous improvement.

* Establish and maintain emergency response plans and procedures, conducting
regular drills and ensuring all personnel are adequately trained.

* Collaborate with various departments, including operations, engineering, and
human resources, to integrate HSE considerations into all business processes.
