Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial Engineering
5–8 years of experience in battery assembly or similar discrete manufacturing processes
Strong understanding of assembly line operations, manpower planning, and shift management
Familiarity with lean manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen practices
Valuable communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Willingness to work in rotational shifts
Job Description
Responsible for managing assembly line operations during the assigned shift.
Ensure production targets are met with adherence to quality and safety standards.
Supervise shift manpower and ensure optimal utilization of resources.
Monitor equipment and process parameters to minimize downtime and defects.
Coordinate with maintenance and quality teams for issue resolution.
Maintain shift-wise production records and ensure smooth handover.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives in assembly processes.
Ensure compliance with ISO, EHS, and other statutory requirements.
Train and mentor operators and technicians for skill enhancement.
