You Are
You have spent years deep in Low Power flows and learned that power is not just a number in a spreadsheet, it is the thing that determines whether a mobile SoC ships or gets redesigned, whether a data center chip meets its thermal envelope or fails qualification.
You know the difference between power estimation that looks valuable in RTL and power that actually correlates when the netlist comes back from synthesis. You have debugged enough UPF intent files to spot the clock gating issue, the retention flop misconfiguration, or the power domain isolation problem before it becomes a tape-out blocker.
You are comfortable sitting with a customer's design team who is missing their power budget by 20% and working backward from PrimePower reports, SpyGlass violations, and simulation waveforms to find the real culprit. You do not wait for the tool to tell you what is wrong, you know where to look. You have written enough Tcl and Perl scripts to automate power audits, correlate emulation data with RTL estimates, and generate the reports that actually help designers make decisions.
