Role Overview

L2 IT support is the first line of assistance provided through remote and onsite service. Support for L2 includes knowing clients’ challenges, engaging with them, and producing tickets against them. The technicians must have basic service and product knowledge and can solve fundamental problems, such as resetting passwords, uninstalling or installing applications, etc. They also assist with particular customer problems, including solving utilization issues and fulfilling demands for help desks that need IT participation. The IT engineers of this level resolve common IT issues and respond to service requests.

Responsibilities

 Installing,



configuring, and maintaining all the server hardware including ADDS, DNS, DHCP, WSUS, SCCM and other Application Server.

 Experience on Windows Server 2022, 2012R2, 2019,2016 Hyper-V, PowerShell Scripting, DC/DR and file share.

 Perform system upgrades, patches, and installations as necessary

 Knowledge of AD architecture and infrastructure (LDAP, Directory Replication, group policy, Security, Schema changes, etc.).

 Administer Active Directory (Forests, Domains, AD Partitions, FSMO Roles, FSRM, Sites, Subnets, Replications, AD Backup/Restore, Group Policies, Security, etc.)

 Provides support to VPN remote users and remote office locations.

 Managing domain accounts within Active Directory (creating, enabling, disabling accounts).

 Working knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, NTFS, SMB and DFS.

 Analysing system logs and performance metrics to identify root cau
