Job Summary

Experienced IT Infrastructure & Network Administrator with robust expertise in enterprise network operations, firewall security, and multi-vendor environments. Hands-on experience with Extreme Networks, HPE Aruba switching, Fortinet firewall, and Quantum & Aruba wireless infrastructure ensuring high availability.

Network & Infrastructure Management

• Manage enterprise LAN/WAN infrastructure
• Configure Core, Distribution, and Access switches
• Implement VLANs, Inter-VLAN routing, STP, RSTP, MSTP, LACP, Port Security
• Ensure high availability and redundancy
• Implement HSRP / VRRP
• Troubleshoot L2/L3 issues
• DHCP snooping and loop protection
• Switch firmware upgrade and backup

Switching (Extreme / HPE Aruba)

• Configure Extreme Networks switches (EXOS / VOSS)
• Configure HPE Aruba switches
• VLAN and trunk configuration
• STP, RSTP, MSTP tuning
• LACP / Port channel configuration
• Inter-VLAN routing
• Firmware upgrades and maintenance

Firewall & Network Security (Fortinet)

• Configure FortiGate firewall
• NAT (Static, Dynamic, PAT) configuration




• IPSec Site-to-Site VPN and SSL Remote Access VPN
• Security policy implementation
• Dual ISP failover and SD-WAN
• Log analysis and troubleshooting
• Security rule optimization

Wireless Infrastructure (Quantum & Aruba)

• Configure Quantum Wireless AP
• Configure Aruba AP and Controller
• SSID and VLAN mapping
• Guest WiFi configuration
• Wireless security WPA2/WPA3
• RF optimization and roaming
• Wireless troubleshooting
• AP provisioning and troubleshooting

Project Handling & Implementation

• Lead network implementation and upgrade projects
• Firewall migration and policy redesign
• L2 to L3 migration and VLAN redesign
• New branch connectivity deployment
• Core switch replacement and migration
• Wireless deployment and controller integration
• Dual ISP implementation and failover testing
• Network segmentation and security hardening
• Coordinate with vendors, ISPs, and stakeholders
• Prepare HL
