Job Summary
Manages complex operational projects from initiation through closure, ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and timeline for Jabil, Inc. This role involves leading cross-functional teams, mitigating risks, and driving continuous improvement in operational processes.
Job Responsibilities
• Lead the planning, execution, and closure of multiple, highly complex operational projects across various business units.
• Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and resource requirements in collaboration with stakeholders and senior management.
• Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Assemble and motivate cross-functional project teams, assigning responsibilities and monitoring performance.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project team members, stakeholders, and external partners.
• Monitor project progress, identify deviations from plan, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Conduct regular project reviews, status updates,
and presentations to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
• Identify, track, and manage project risks and issues, developing contingency plans and escalating as necessary.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in project management methodologies and operational processes.
• Ensure projects adhere to Jabil's quality standards, compliance requirements, and established procedures.
• Manage project budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring financial objectives are met.
• Mentor and provide guidance to less experienced project managers and team members.
Job Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification is required.
