- Select appropriate cutting tools and inserts.
- Set work holding fixtures, jaws and components.
- Understand and follow CNC programs.
- Make necessary offset corrections during production.
- Verify first-off components before mass production.
- Read engineering drawings and understand dimensional requirements.
- Support operators during production.
- Monitor tool life and machining conditions.
- Troubleshoot basic machining and setting-related issues.
- Reduce setup and changeover time.
- Ensure dimensional accuracy and minimize rejection.
