Job Summary
We are looking for a highly motivated Business Development (BD) & Subject Matter Expert (SME) with solid expertise in Pharma and Chemical processes, especially API and Fine Chemicals. The role involves identifying business opportunities, understanding customer challenges, and developing automation and digital solutions that deliver measurable value while ensuring regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize strong Pharma & Chemical domain expertise to support business development activities
- Understand API and Fine Chemical processes and customer operational requirements
- Perform customer problem identification, gap analysis, and solution mapping
- Develop and propose automation and digital solutions aligned with customer needs
- Identify new business opportunities and support BD team in expanding market presence
- Deliver technical presentations and solution demos to customers
- Define customer value proposition, benefits, and ROI justification
- Ensure solutions meet GMP, EHS, and regulatory compliance requirements
- Support preparation of technical proposals, solution documents, and presentations
- Work closely with sales, engineering, and customers for solution development and closure
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in chemical / Instrumentation / Automation / Electrical Engineering
- 5–12 years of experience in Pharma / Chemical industry
- Strong knowledge of API / Fine Chemical processes
- Experience in Automation, Digital Solutions, or Engineering services
- Good understanding of GMP and EHS regulations
