- About the Role
- We are looking for an experienced Project Manager Quality Engineering to lead and manage quality assurance initiatives for large scale API driven applications and distributed systems
- The role involves driving testing strategy managing cross functional teams ensuring delivery excellence and championing quality across the software development lifecycle
- You will collaborate with business stakeholders architects developers DevOps teams and QA engineers to deliver reliable secure and high performing solutions
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end to end project delivery for Quality Engineering engagements involving API and integration testing
- Define project plans test strategies milestones risks and governance processes
- Manage QA teams allocate resources track deliverables and ensure adherence to timelines and quality standards
- Drive API testing and automation initiatives across microservices and distributed systems
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align project objectives priorities and release schedules
- Monitor project health through metrics dashboards and regular status reporting
- Identify risks dependencies and bottlenecks and implement mitigation plans proactively
- Ensure seamless integration of testing practices into CI CD pipelines and Agile delivery models
- Facilitate defect triage root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
- Mentor team members and promote quality engineering best practices across programs
Technical Requirements:
- 8 years of experience in Software Testing Quality Engineering or Test Management with project leadership responsibilities
- Strong understanding of API Testing Automation Testing and Quality Assurance methodologies
- Experience managing Agile Scrum projects and coordinating cross functional teams
- Knowledge of REST APIs microservices architecture and API testing tools
- Experience with test automation frameworks and CI CD integration
- Strong stakeholder management project planning risk management and reporting skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver projects within scope schedule and quality targets
- Excellent communication leadership and problem solving abilities
