Job Description:
- We are looking for an accomplished Business Development Leader US & Canada to drive new business growth across the North American staffing and workforce solutions market.
- This is a strategic growth leadership position for a highly connected, commercially driven skilled who understands the US and Canadian staffing ecosystem and has a demonstrated ability to create enterprise relationships, develop strategic partnerships and win new business.
- The successful candidate will operate from Bangalore while building and managing relationships across the US and Canada.

- We are looking for someone who can open doors, build executive relationships, navigate complex enterprise buying environments and convert relationships into long-term, scalable business.
Experience:
- 10+ years in US/Canada Staffing, Recruitment, RPO, MSP, VMS, Workforce Solutions, or related B2B services
Key Responsibilities: US & Canada Market Expansion:
- Own and execute the business development strategy for the US and Canadian markets.
- Identify target industries, organizations, enterprise accounts and staffing ecosystems with significant growth potential.
- Build a strategic target-account universe and develop account-entry strategies.
- Generate new logos and establish long-term enterprise relationships.
- Develop market-entry strategies for new industries, geographies and client segments.
- Continuously monitor North American staffing market trends, competitor movements and emerging workforce requirements.
Enterprise Business Development:
- Develop relationships with enterprise organizations across the US and Canada.
- Engage senior stakeholders including:
- CHROs
- Chief People Officers
- Heads of Talent Acquisition
- Procurement Leaders
- Workforce Strategy Leaders
- Vendor Management Leaders
- HR Transformation Leaders
- Business Unit Leaders
- CXOs
- Identify opportunities for enterprise staffing, workforce augmentation and recruitment partnerships.
- Lead complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Develop strategic account plans for high-value prospects.
- Position the organization as a strategic workforce partner rather than a transactional staffing supplier.
MSP & VMS Business Development:
- A significant component of this role will be building relationships within the North American MSP/VMS ecosystem.
- Responsibilities include:
- Identify and develop relationships with MSPs managing large contingent workforce programs.
- Identify opportunities to become an approved staffing supplier within MSP programs.
- Develop relationships with MSP leadership, program managers, supplier management teams and procurement stakeholders.
- Identify VMS-driven staffing opportunities across target accounts.
- Understand supplier qualification, compliance, rate-card, SLA and performance requirements.
- Develop strategies to improve supplier positioning and win share within MSP programs.
- Build partnerships with MSPs, VMS ecosystems and workforce management organizations.
- Experience working with platforms and ecosystems such as Beeline, SAP Fieldglass, Workday, Coupa, Magnit, Workforce Logiq, Randstad Sourceright, Allegis Global Solutions, KellyOCG, Pontoon, ManpowerGroup Talent Solutions or similar environments will be highly valuable.
Staffing & Recruitment Business Development:
- Drive new business across IT, Engineering, Professional Services, Healthcare and other staffing verticals.
- Identify organizations with high-volume contingent hiring requirements.
- Develop relationships with hiring organizations, procurement teams and staffing program stakeholders.
- Create opportunities for contract, contract-to-hire and direct-hire recruitment.
- Develop strategic staffing partnerships that can scale across multiple business units.
- Identify opportunities to expand from individual requisitions into broader staffing programs.
RPO & Talent Solutions:
- Identify organizations considering RPO or recruitment transformation initiatives.
- Build a pipeline of RPO opportunities across the US and Canada.
- Work with internal recruitment and delivery leadership to design appropriate RPO models.
- Identify opportunities where India-based recruitment delivery can provide scalability and cost efficiency.
- Develop offshore, hybrid and global delivery propositions.
- Position India delivery capabilities as an extension of the client's talent acquisition organization.
Strategic Partnerships:
- Build relationships with organizations that can generate recurring business opportunities, including:
- MSPs
- VMS ecosystems
- Staffing firms
- Recruitment companies
- RPO providers
- HR consulting firms
- Workforce technology companies
- Talent technology providers
- Strategic channel partners
- Develop referral, subcontracting, co-selling and strategic partnership models where appropriate.
Revenue & Pipeline Ownership:
- The leader will have direct ownership of business development performance across the US and Canada.
- Key responsibilities include:
- Build and maintain a healthy qualified pipeline.
- Own opportunity development from prospecting through closure.
- Develop annual and quarterly revenue plans.
- Establish target-account strategies.
- Lead proposal and RFP/RFI responses.
- Drive commercial negotiations.
- Work closely with delivery and recruitment leadership on solution design.
- Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline reporting.

Leadership & Business Building:
- This is not a traditional sales representative position.
- We are looking for a business builder who can eventually create and lead a dedicated North American business development organization from India.
- The successful candidate will:
- Establish a scalable US & Canada sales framework.
- Define target markets and account segmentation.
- Develop sales methodologies and account strategies.
- Build and mentor a high-performing BD team.
- Establish performance metrics and sales governance.
- Work closely with recruitment and delivery leaders.
- Develop repeatable strategies for acquiring enterprise clients.
- Build a culture focused on consultative selling, relationship development and revenue ownership.
What We Are Looking For: Must Have:
- 10+ years of experience in US/Canada Staffing, Recruitment, RPO, MSP, VMS, Workforce Solutions or related B2B services.
- Demonstrated experience in new business development and enterprise sales.
- Strong understanding of the North American staffing ecosystem.
- Proven ability to acquire new clients and build strategic accounts.
- Strong understanding of contingent workforce models.
- Experience engaging enterprise HR, TA, procurement and workforce stakeholders.
- Excellent executive-level communication and presentation skills.
- Strong negotiation and commercial capabilities.
- Ability to work effectively with US and Canadian stakeholders while operating from India.
- Willingness to work in alignment with North American business hours when required.
