- Ensure the smooth and protected operation of all electrical systems and equipment.
- Plan and supervise preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical equipment.
- Monitor electrical panels, motors, machines, lighting, DG, compressors and other electrical systems.
- Attend electrical breakdowns and ensure timely restoration of equipment.
- Maintain electrical maintenance records, checklists and breakdown reports.
- Conduct regular inspection of electrical panels, cables, switches, earthing and protection systems.
- Monitor power consumption and identify opportunities to reduce energy wastage.
- Coordinate with external electrical contractors and service providers.
- Ensure electrical work is carried out as per company safety procedures and applicable statutory requirements.
- Ensure proper use of PPE and safe isolation/LOTO practices during electrical maintenance.
- Maintain adequate stock of electrical spare parts and consumables.
- Support electrical safety inspections, audits and corrective actions.
- Coordinate with Production, HR, Safety and other departments for maintenance requirements.
- Guide and supervise electricians and maintenance staff
