- Assist patients with daily activities such as walking, sitting, and moving from one place to another.
- Help in transferring patients between beds, wheelchairs, and stretchers under the supervision of nursing staff.
- Assist patients in maintaining personal hygiene and comfort as required.
- Ensure that patient beds, wheelchairs, and stretchers are clean and ready for use.
- Support nursing staff in routine patient care activities as instructed.
- Transport patients to various departments for investigations, procedures, and consultations.
- Respond promptly to patient requests and inform nursing staff about any patient concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in patient care areas.
- Assist in shifting and handling patient belongings safely.
- Follow hospital policies, infection control practices, and safety protocols.
- Maintain patient privacy, dignity, and confidentiality at all times.
- Report any emergency, patient discomfort, or unusual observations to the nursing staff immediately.
- Ensure proper handover of duties to the next shift.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor or department head.
