What awaits you/ Job Profile

- You will shape the future BMW vehicles dynamics by bringing brake systems to life through precise CAD modelling, Concept and engineering execution.
- You will contribute to concept development, CAD engineering, packaging, system integration, validation, and industrialization of chassis sensing systems across global vehicle platforms.
- Develop and maintain 3D CAD models, assemblies, engineering drawings, and release documentation for chassis sensors, brackets, mounting systems, and sensor interfaces.
- Support complete component development from concept phase through series production.
- Collaborate with Vehicle Dynamics, Suspension, Brakes, Steering, ADAS, Functional Safety, E/E Architecture, Testing, Manufacturing, and Supplier Engineering teams.
- Ensure compliance with vehicle performance, safety, reliability, durability, functional safety, cybersecurity, weight, cost, and manufacturing requirements.
- Support prototype builds, calibration activities, vehicle integration, testing, validation, and engineering change management activities.

What should you bring along

- Minimum 8-12 years of experience in automotive sensor development, chassis electronics, suspension systems, or vehicle dynamics systems.
- Strong understanding of chassis electronic systems and vehicle dynamics functionality.
- Experience working with OEMs or Tier-1 suppliers in chassis, sensor, or control system development.
- Knowledge of automotive product development processes,



engineering release systems, and validation methodologies.
- Experience in cross-functional and global engineering environments.
- Robust analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Proficiency in English; German language skills would be an added advantage.

Must have technical skill

- Steering Angle Sensors
- Brake Pressure Sensors
- Yaw Rate Sensors
- Lateral Acceleration Sensors
- Longitudinal Acceleration Sensors
- Suspension Travel Sensors
- Body Acceleration Sensors
- Inertial Measurement Units (IMU)
- Air Suspension Position Sensors
- Chassis Motion Sensors

- Strong understanding of sensor operating principles, sensor architectures, and chassis control requirements.
- Experience defining sensor packaging, mounting locations, environmental protection, and accessibility requirements.
- Understanding of sensor applications within:

- ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System)
- ESC (Electronic Stability Control)
- DSC (Dynamic Stability Control)
- Traction Control Systems
- Active Suspension Systems
- Adaptive Damping Systems
- Air Suspension Systems
- Rear Wheel Steering
- Torque Vectoring Systems
- Autonomous Driving Functions

- Knowledge of sensor data utilization for vehicle dynamics control algorithms.
- Experience integrating sensors with vehicle control units and chassis electronic modules.

- Support sensor calibration and vehicle commissioning activities.
- Conduct root cause investigations, 8D activities, and corrective action implementation.
- Create and manage technical specifications and validation plans.
- Support design reviews and technical feasibility assessments.
- Manage engineering releases and change management throughout the development lifecycle.
- Support supplier development and technical coordination activities.

Good to have Technical skills

- CATIA V5/V6 Part Design, Assembly Design, GSD, and Drafting.
- Teamcenter, ENOVIA, or equivalent PLM systems.
- GD&T; and Tolerance Stack-Up Analysis.
- CANoe, CANalyzer, INCA, Vehicle Spy, or equivalent diagnostic tools.
- Sensor Calibration and Data Analysis Tools.
- DFMEA, DVP methodologies.
- Functional Safety (ISO 26262) implementation experience.
- Automotive SPICE process awareness.
- Knowledge of AUTOSAR architecture.
- Knowledge of Chassis Control Systems and Vehicle Dynamics Algorithms.
- Root Cause Analysis, 8D, Six Sigma, and Problem-Solving tools.
- ADAS and Autonomous Driving sensor integration experience.
- EV and Hybrid Vehicle chassis electronics development.
- Cybersecurity awareness (ISO/SAE 21434).
- Supplier Management and Technical Leadership experience.
- Experience in global vehicle development programs.
