What awaits you/ Job Profile

- Own end-to-end hardware development and lifecycle management of automotive camera and ultrasonic sensor systems.
- Define component requirements, specifications, and vehicle integration concepts.
- Lead supplier technical discussions, design reviews, and issue resolution.
- Coordinate development activities with vehicle integration, software, validation, quality, and manufacturing teams.
- Drive sensor validation, release, and production readiness activities.
- Ensure compliance with functional, environmental, EMC, reliability, and safety requirements.
- Manage quality, cost, timing, and technical maturity targets for sensor components.

What should you bring along

- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in automotive electronics, ADAS sensors, camera systems, ultrasonic systems, or hardware development.
- Strong understanding of sensor integration and vehicle electrical/electronic architectures.




- Experience working with global suppliers and cross-functional development teams.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Must have technical skill

- Automotive camera and ultrasonic sensor architecture knowledge.
- Experience in sensor development, integration, and validation.
- Understanding of image sensing, optics, camera performance parameters, and ultrasonic sensing principles.
- Experience with DFMEA, DVP&R;, requirements management, and engineering change processes.
- Knowledge of EMC, environmental testing, ASPICE, and ISO 26262.
- Experience in supplier management, root cause analysis, and technical reviews.
- Familiarity with BMW PLM tools.

Valuable to have technical skills

- Knowledge of ADAS sensor fusion involving Camera, Radar, Ultrasonic, and LiDAR.
- Experience with ADAS functions such as Park Assist, Surround View, Automated Parking, AEB, ACC, and Lane Assist.
- Exposure to camera calibration, image quality assessment, and vehicle-level validation.
- Understanding of functional safety and cybersecurity requirements.
- Experience with Requirement management tools like Polarion, or MBSE tools.
- Knowledge of computer vision and image processing fundamentals.
