Job Summary We are looking for a Senior PL/SQL Developer with 10 years of experience in Postgres/Oracle database development, preferably in the banking or financial services domain. The role requires solid expertise in PL/SQL programming, SQL performance tuning, data processing, and support for enterprise-grade transactional systems. The candidate should be capable of working on complex banking applications, understanding business-critical data flows, and delivering stable, high-performance database solutions. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, enhance, and maintain complex Postgres PL/SQL objects including packages, procedures, functions, triggers, views, and cursors. Work on core banking, payments, settlements, reconciliation, accounting, regulatory reporting, or similar banking systems.



Analyze business and functional requirements and translate them into efficient database solutions. Optimize SQL queries and PL/SQL code for high-volume transactional systems. Perform data analysis, troubleshooting, and root cause investigation for production issues. Support batch processing, end-of-day processing, reconciliations, and reporting workflows. Ensure data accuracy, integrity, security, and compliance across banking applications. Collaborate with business analysts, application developers, QA teams, and production support teams. Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and release planning activities. Lead defect fixes, performance improvements, and production deployment support. Mentor junior developers and guide the team on coding standards and best practices. Prepare and maintain technical documentation, impact assessments, and deployment documents.
