Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Staff Nurse role based at Fortis Hospital Jalandhar. The Staff Nurse will provide direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, assisting with procedures, and supporting patient recovery in accordance with clinical protocols. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate medical records,



coordinating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring adherence to infection control and safety standards. The role also involves educating patients and families on treatment plans, post-discharge care, and health promotion, while demonstrating empathy and professionalism in all interactions. Staff Nurses are expected to participate in continuous quality improvement and follow hospital policies and evidence-based clinical guidelines.
Qualifications
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from a recognized institution; valid nursing registration with the appropriate regulatory body.
