Role Description The Doctoral Student role at INST is a full-time, on-site position based in the Mohali district. The candidate will conduct original research in nanoscience and nanotechnology under the guidance of a faculty supervisor, including experimental or theoretical work, data collection, analysis, and interpretation.



Daily tasks include designing and executing experiments or simulations, maintaining detailed research records, reviewing scientific literature, and contributing to manuscripts, reports, and presentations. The role also involves collaborating with other researchers, participating in seminars and group meetings, assisting with laboratory upkeep and safety, and supporting ongoing projects within the research group. Over the course of the program, the doctoral student is expected to meet academic milestones, present research findings, and work toward a dissertation that meets the institute’s standards.
