About the Role

We are looking for a Fabric Merchandiser to take ownership of our sampling and product development process — from understanding customer requirements to developing, refining and finalizing production-ready fabrics.

You will work closely with customers, CAD & Design, Production, R&D; / technical resources and PPC to turn ideas and market trends into commercially viable fabrics.

Key Responsibilities
- Understand customer requirements, references and product specifications.
- Stay updated with fashion, colour, fabric and market trends and identify opportunities for new product development.
- Translate emerging trends and market requirements into new fabric concepts, designs, constructions and qualities.
- Coordinate with CAD & Design for new designs and modifications.
- Coordinate with Production for sample development and technical feasibility.
- Review samples, identify gaps and drive re-sampling / improvements until approval.
- Develop new fabric qualities, constructions, textures, yarn combinations and colourways.
- Coordinate with yarn specialists,



consultants and other R&D; / technical resources when required.
- Maintain sample and product-development records.
- Ensure all technical details, approved designs and samples are properly documented.
- Hand over finalized products and confirmed orders to PPC with complete information.

Role Ownership

Market / Customer Requirement → Product Concept → Development → Sampling → Refinement → Approval → PPC Handover

Once the product is successfully handed over to PPC, PPC takes ownership of production planning and order execution. The Fabric Merchandiser supports only for product-related clarifications when required.

What We're Looking For
- 3–7 years of experience in fabric merchandising / sampling / product development.
- Solid knowledge of woven fabrics; Jacquard experience preferred.
- Good understanding of yarns, fabric constructions and textile production.
- Strong understanding of fashion and texti
