Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer at Hamilton Housewares (Milton).



The role involves leading the mechanical design and development of cutting-edge homeware products, from concept through to production, ensuring alignment with brand standards and user needs. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and reviewing detailed design specifications, performing mechanical calculations, developing CAD models and engineering drawings, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in product development, manufacturing, and quality. The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will analyze design performance, optimize machine and product designs for manufacturability, reliability, and cost, and support prototype builds and testing. The role also includes mentoring junior engineers, contributing to design best practices, and driving continuous improvement in design processes and standards.
