Gamefuel Studio is co-development studio working with game developers and publishers across multiple platforms and genres. As we expand our engineering capabilities in console game development and porting, we are looking for an experienced Senior Game Developer with hands-on experience developing and shipping commercial titles on major console platforms such as PlayStation and Xbox.

About the Role
We are looking for a robust, hands-on C++ game developer to work on console development, co-development and porting projects.
• The majority of the projects will involve Unreal Engine, while some projects may use proprietary game engines. The developer should therefore have strong fundamentals in C++, game-engine architecture and console development, and be comfortable quickly understanding and contributing to unfamiliar codebases and technology stacks.
• This role requires actual production experience on console titles.



We are specifically looking for developers who have contributed directly to games commercially shipped on PlayStation and/or Xbox.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop and port games for PlayStation and Xbox.
• Work primarily with Unreal Engine and C++ on console development and porting projects.
• Work with proprietary game engines and unfamiliar technology stacks when required.
• Understand existing game architecture and adapt PC or cross-platform codebases for console platforms.
• Integrate console SDKs, APIs and platform-specific services.
• Implement and maintain console functionality including controller/input systems, user profiles, save data, achievements/trophies, platform services, system UI and game lifecycle management.
• Debug platform-specific issues across game, engine and system-level code.
• Profile and optimise games for CPU, GPU, memory, loading times and overall performance on console hardware.
