The product is a gamified, quiz-first app that helps learners explore African proverbs, traditions, rites of passage, festivals, folklore, and customs. Designed for Africans and the diaspora, Superfan.ng focuses on engaging, culturally rich content that deepens understanding and pride in African heritage. Team members contribute to building an experience that is both educational and entertaining, with strong emphasis on visual storytelling and user engagement.
Role Description The Senior Graphic Designer is a full-time, remote role responsible for shaping and maintaining Superfan.ng’s visual identity across digital products and marketing assets. Day-to-day tasks include designing app interfaces and in-app visuals, creating graphics for campaigns and social media, and developing brand-aligned illustrations and layouts that reflect diverse African cultures. The role involves collaborating with product, content, and marketing teams to translate concepts into clear,



compelling visual designs and ensure consistency across all touchpoints. The Senior Graphic Designer will also refine design systems, contribute to creative direction, and guide junior designers or external vendors when needed.
Qualifications
• Solid visual design skills, including Graphics and Graphic Design, with a portfolio demonstrating digital product and marketing work.
• Experience in Logo Design and Branding, including creating and evolving brand identities for digital platforms.
• Proficiency in Typography and layout design, with attention to readability, hierarchy, and aesthetic consistency.
• Advanced skills in industry-standard design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent).
• Demonstrated ability to design for mobile-first experiences and create assets optimized for web and social media.
• Understanding of African cultures, languages, or diaspora communities, or
