Industrial Security Expert - 5+ Years - Remote

We are looking for a senior Industrial Security Expert to undertake a comprehensive assessment of the security arrangements across plants, offices, factories, and other extended areas of multiple PSUs spread across 20-25 states. The expert will assess existing security deployment and associated costs, identify opportunities for rationalisation, and recommend technology-enabled security models that maintain the required level of protection while improving cost efficiency.

Responsibilities:

Assess existing security arrangements, manpower deployment, processes, and infrastructure across plants, factories, offices, and other facilities.

Evaluate current security costs and identify opportunities for cost rationalisation without compromising security standards.

Conduct security risk assessments and classify requirements into core, non-core, sensitive, critical, and other relevant categories.

Develop alternative security deployment models combining manpower, processes, technology, surveillance, and access-control mechanisms.

Identify and evaluate technology-led security solutions such as CCTV/video analytics, perimeter protection, access control, remote monitoring, and automation.

Develop cost-benefit scenarios and recommend an optimal security model based on risk, operational requirements, and cost.

Prepare a comprehensive assessment and recommendation report covering current-state findings, cost analysis, deployment options, and technology interventions.

Present key findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders and support implementation planning.





Requirements:

· Ex-Serviceman or Ex-Paramilitary Forces personnel with rank of Lieutenant Colonel or above, or equivalent.

· Minimum 5+ years of experience in Industrial Security.

· Strong experience in security management/assessment of large-scale industrial plants, manufacturing facilities, PSUs, or similar establishments.

· Experience in security audits, risk assessment, manpower deployment, security cost assessment, and security optimisation.

· Solid understanding of physical security, perimeter security, access control, surveillance, and industrial security systems.

· Exposure to technology-enabled security solutions and security automation.

· Ability to analyse security requirements across a large and geographically distributed network of facilities.

· Strong analytical, report-writing, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.

· Willingness and ability to travel extensively across multiple states as required for site assessments.

· Should be capable of working independently as a senior-level security advisor/consultant.
