Its clients are representative of various components of the financial servicing industry including but not limited to mortgage originations, mortgage servicing, credit card servicing, auto lending, student lending, consumer loans, bankruptcy, REO, etc.
An Ideal Candidate:
Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration and Mathematics or Statistics
Minimum 3 years of solid knowledge in US Mortgage Underwriting/Origination
Should have positive knowledge in reviewing the mortgage Documents in depth
Should have solid verbal and written communications.
Key Competencies:
Credit Analysis:
Review applicants' credit histories, including credit scores, payment histories, and outstanding debts.
Assess creditworthiness and identify potential risks.
Capacity Evaluation:
Analyze borrowers' income and employment history.
Calculate debt-to-income ratios to determine repayment ability.
Evaluate stability and consistency of income sources.
Collateral Assessment:
Appraise the value of the property or asset being used as collateral.
Capital Verification:
Verify the borrower's assets and savings.
Decision Making:
Approve or deny loan applications based on comprehensive risk assessments.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain detailed records of all evaluations and decisions.
