Role Overview
We are looking for a QA Engineer with solid manual testing experience to validate an Endpoint DLP/security product across Windows and macOS .
The role will focus on end-to-end functional, integration, network, security, and interoperability testing. The engineer should have a valuable understanding of Data Loss Prevention (DLP), endpoint security, and networking concepts and should be comfortable troubleshooting issues using logs, network captures, and system-level tools.

Key Responsibilities
Perform end-to-end testing of the Endpoint DLP product on Windows and macOS .
Validate agent installation, uninstallation, upgrade, authentication, enrolment, configuration, and policy synchronization.
Test DLP policies for allow/block scenarios using sensitive and non-sensitive data.
Validate DLP detection for data such as PII, PCI, PHI, credentials/secrets, source code, and confidential information .
Test data movement through prompts, file uploads, and other supported application workflows.
Validate traffic interception and routing between the endpoint,



secure tunnel, cloud gateway, DLP services, and destination applications .
Verify that monitored application traffic is correctly intercepted while unrelated traffic is not impacted.
Perform network-level troubleshooting using tools such as Wireshark, tcpdump, netstat, nslookup/dig, curl, ping, traceroute , or equivalent Windows/macOS utilities.
Validate WireGuard/VPN tunnel connectivity, routing, DNS, TLS/certificate behavior, and network recovery scenarios .
Analyze endpoint, agent, service, driver/network extension, and cloud-side logs to identify the source of failures.
Perform negative and recovery testing including service crashes, network disconnect/reconnect, reboot, sleep/wake, authentication failures, backend unavailability, and configuration failures.
Perform compatibility and interoperability testing with enterprise security products such as Zscaler, CrowdStrike, VPN/SASE, EDR,
