Key Responsibilities / Skills:
Demonstrate solid self-motivation and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
Draft, review, and support prosecution of patent applications in the biologics/biopharma domain, including claims, specifications, responses, and technical arguments.
Conduct patentability search, freedom-to-operate, invalidity, and landscape analyses for India, the United States, Europe, and other key jurisdictions.
Work closely with R&D; and technical teams to identify inventions, understand and interpret scientific/experimental data.
Analyse prior art, office actions, claim scope, prosecution history, and IP risks to support effective patent filing and prosecution strategies and office action responses.




Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external counsel for patent filings, office action responses, timelines, and portfolio management.

Qualifications

Experience:

5+ years of relevant experience in intellectual property, preferably in biologics, biosimilars, or biopharmaceuticals.

Qualification: M.Tech or Master’s degree in Biotechnology/ Biochemistry, Bioprocess Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.

Registered Patent Agent qualification will be an added advantage
