Role Description This is a full-time, in office Video Editor role based in Bhopal. The Video Editor will be responsible for editing raw footage into polished educational and promotional videos that align with Kurukshetra Coding School’s brand and curriculum. Day-to-day tasks include organizing and trimming clips, adding transitions, sound, and visual effects, integrating graphics and motion elements, and ensuring consistent color grading and audio quality. The role involves collaborating with educators, content creators, and marketing teams to understand requirements, propose creative approaches, and deliver videos on schedule.



The Video Editor will also help maintain a media asset library, optimize content for various platforms, and contribute ideas to improve visual storytelling and learner engagement.
Qualifications
Robust video production and video editing skills, including experience working with raw footage and assembling complete narratives.
Proficiency in video color grading to ensure visual consistency and enhance the overall look and feel of videos.
Ability to create and integrate motion graphics and graphics to support educational content and brand identity.
Experience with industry-standard editing and post-production software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro).
Basic understanding of audio editing, sound design, and optimizing video for web and social media platforms.
Attention to detail, strong time management skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
Effective communication and collaboration skills, with openness to feedback and iterative improvement.
Relevant coursework or a degree in film, media, design, communications, or a related field is beneficial; a portfolio demonstrating past video work is required.
