Dental Assistant/ Receptionist – Job Description

We are looking for a friendly, responsible, and skilled Dental Assistant/ Receptionist to join our dental clinic. The ideal candidate should be comfortable assisting the dentist during procedures, maintaining a clean and organized clinical workplace, and providing a welcoming experience for patients.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist the dentist during dental procedures and treatments.
Prepare and arrange dental instruments and materials before procedures.
Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment according to clinic protocols.
Prepare treatment rooms and ensure they are clean, hygienic, and well-organized.
Assist with patient preparation and provide basic chairside support.
Maintain proper records of patients and treatments as required.
Manage and organize dental supplies and inform the clinic when stock needs replenishing.
Follow all infection-control,



hygiene, and safety procedures.
Help ensure patients feel comfortable and cared for during their visit.
Support the dentist and clinic staff with day-to-day clinical tasks.

Requirements:
Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred.Freshers are also welcomed.
Knowledge of basic dental procedures, instruments, and sterilization protocols.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work efficiently as part of a team.
Responsible, punctual, well-organized, and attentive to detail.
A caring and qualified attitude toward patients.
