About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant with 3–4 years of experience, particularly in payroll processing and management. The ideal candidate will handle day-to-day accounting operations along with end-to-end payroll activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing.

Key Responsibilities
Process end-to-end monthly payroll, including salary calculations, deductions, and disbursements
Ensure accurate calculation and timely deposit of statutory dues (PF, ESI, TDS, Professional Tax, etc.)
Maintain employee salary records, attendance data, leave records, and reimbursements
Prepare and file payroll-related compliance reports and returns
Handle full and final settlements, reimbursements, and payroll-related queries from employees
Manage general accounting activities — bookkeeping, ledger maintenance, journal entries, and bank reconciliations
Prepare and maintain financial records, invoices, and vouchers
Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities
Coordinate with HR for new joiner/exit payroll updates and salary structuring
Support internal and external audits by providing required payroll and accounting data
Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies





Required Skills & Qualifications
3–4 years of experience in accounting, with hands-on payroll processing experience
Robust knowledge of payroll components — PF, ESI, TDS, Professional Tax, Gratuity, etc.
Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar) and payroll tools/HRMS
Positive working knowledge of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, formulas)
Solid understanding of accounting principles and statutory compliance
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data
Good communication skills for coordinating with employees, HR, and management
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com/M.Com preferred)

Good to Have
Experience with payroll software like GreytHR, Keka, or Zoho Payroll
Basic knowledge of GST and income tax filing
Prior experience in an IT/services company
