Job Purpose
To support day-to-day accounting and financial activities, maintain accurate records, assist with billing and payment processes, and ensure timely updating of financial data and documents.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain daily accounting entries and financial records.
Record and verify income, expenses, receipts, payments, and petty cash transactions.
Prepare and maintain invoices, bills, payment vouchers, and receipts.
Assist in bank reconciliation and cash/bank transaction tracking.
Maintain centre-wise income and expense records.
Coordinate with the operations and admin teams for required financial information and supporting documents.
Assist in accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
Follow up for pending invoices, payments, and supporting documents.
Maintain proper filing of bills, invoices, vouchers, and other accounting documents.
Assist in monthly financial reporting and preparation of MIS reports.
Support the senior accounts team during month-end closing and audit activities.
Verify expense claims and supporting documents before processing.
Assist in maintaining vendor and customer/party ledgers.
Ensure timely and accurate data entry in accounting software/ERP.
Perform any other accounts-related duties assigned by the reporting manager.
Required Skills
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
Positive knowledge of MS Excel and basic computer operations.
Knowledge of Tally/ERP/accounting software will be an advantage.
