We are looking for a skilled and motivated Commis 1 – Chinese Cuisine to join our Food Production team. The candidate will assist in preparing high-quality Chinese dishes while maintaining hygiene, food safety, and kitchen standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook Chinese dishes as per standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
Assist the Chef de Partie and senior kitchen team in daily operations.
Ensure proper preparation, portioning, and storage of ingredients.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the assigned kitchen section.
Follow food safety and HACCP standards.
Ensure proper handling and storage of food items.
Monitor the quality and freshness of ingredients.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen equipment and work areas.




Support the team during busy operations and maintain timely food preparation.

Requirements:
Previous experience in a hotel, resort, or qualified kitchen is preferred.
Valuable knowledge of Chinese cuisine and cooking techniques.
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Positive communication and organizational skills.
Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Experience: 1–2 years preferred.

Education: Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management or relevant culinary qualification preferred.
