JOB DESCRIPTION – PRIMARY TEACHER (PRT)

Position: Primary Teacher (PRT)

Job Responsibilities
Teach students from Classes I to V according to the school curriculum.
Prepare and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans.
Explain concepts clearly using interactive and activity-based teaching methods.
Maintain a positive, disciplined, and supportive classroom setting.
Assess students through classwork, homework, tests, and regular evaluations.
Monitor students’ academic progress and provide individual support where required.
Develop students’ communication, creativity, confidence, and overall personality.
Maintain proper records of attendance, assessments,



and student performance.
Communicate regularly with parents regarding students’ progress and development.
Participate in school events, meetings, workshops, examinations, and co-curricular activities.
Follow school policies, academic guidelines, and qualified standards.

Qualification: Graduate with B.Ed./D.El.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification.
