Job Description: OPD Incharge

Job Summary

The OPD Incharge oversees daily operations in the Outpatient Department (OPD). This role ensures smooth patient flow, manages staff and doctor schedules, resolves patient concerns, and maintains high standards of service and safety.

Key Responsibilities

Manage OPD Workflow: Keep patient lines moving efficiently, manage consultation queues, and minimize wait times.

Coordinate Doctors & Staff: Organize work schedules for nurses, front-desk staff, and visiting doctors/consultants.

Assist Patients: Greet patients, provide guidance, and address complaints or questions promptly and politely.

Department Coordination: Work closely with billing, lab, pharmacy, and radiology departments to facilitate quick service.

Maintain Stock & Equipment: Ensure all doctor consultation rooms are well-supplied, clean, and functioning properly.

Enforce Safety & Rules: Ensure hygiene,



infection control, and hospital policy standards are strictly followed.

Reporting: Keep track of daily patient counts, registration records, and basic operational reports for management.

Key Requirements

Education: Degree or Hospital Administration.

Experience: 3–5 years of working experience in a hospital setup (preferably in OPD operations).

Skills:

Robust communication and customer service skills.

Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with hospital software systems.

Positive leadership and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to stay calm and helpful in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per hour
