A Business Development Executive (BDE) drives company growth by sourcing recent clients, building strategic partnerships, and expanding market share. They act as a bridge between the organization and potential customers, identifying pain points and closing deals to maximize revenue.

Core Responsibilities
Lead Generation: Hunt for current business prospects through cold calling, email campaigns, networking, and social media outreach (e.g., LinkedIn). [1, 2]
Market Research: Analyze industry trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activity to identify profitable business opportunities. [1, 2, 3]
Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture long-lasting, trust-based relationships with new and existing clients. [1, 2]
Pitching & Proposals: Craft customized business proposals, presentations, and contracts that effectively communicate the company’s value proposition. [1, 2, 3]
Negotiation & Closure: Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to successfully close sales deals and meet revenue targets. [1, 2]
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work alongside marketing, product,



and operations teams to align strategies, share client feedback, and ensure smooth client onboarding.

Key Requirements & Skills
Education: A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience: Proven experience in sales, business development, or account management.
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to deliver persuasive pitches and negotiate terms.
Analytical Thinking: Robust ability to interpret market data, analyze sales metrics, and forecast growth.
Tech-Savviness: Proficiency in using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software like Salesforce or HubSpot to track pipelines.
Resilience: A motivated, self-driven disposition with the ability to handle rejection and overcome objections
