We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior QA Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of software testing and a strong interest in building a career in Quality Assurance.
Key Responsibilities:
Understand project requirements and prepare test scenarios and test cases
Perform manual testing of web applications
Conduct functional, regression, smoke, and UI testing
Identify, document, and track bugs/defects
Perform retesting and verify bug fixes
Maintain test cases, test reports, and QA documentation
Work closely with developers to understand and resolve issues
Participate in requirement discussions and provide QA feedback
Ensure applications meet functional and business requirements
Support the team during release and post-release testing
Required Skills:
Basic understanding of Manual Testing
Knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and Defect Life Cycle
Understanding of test cases, test scenarios, and bug reporting
Basic knowledge of functional and regression testing
Familiarity with tools such as JIRA/Bugzilla is a plus
Basic knowledge of API Testing/Postman and SQL is an advantage
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail
Good communication and teamwork skills
Eligibility:
B.Tech/B.E./BCA/MCA or a relevant technical qualification
6 Months – 1 year of experience in Software Testing/QA
