Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
Maintain and review the general ledger and accounting books.
Prepare and review journal entries, payment vouchers, receipts and invoices.
Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) activities.
Perform regular bank, vendor, customer and ledger reconciliations.
Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
Assist in preparation of Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow statements.
Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and follow up on pending payments.
Review expenses, invoices and supporting documents for accuracy and compliance.
Handle GST, TDS and other statutory accounting requirements.
Assist with GST returns, TDS returns and related reconciliations.
Coordinate with auditors and provide required documents and financial information.
Support internal and statutory audits and resolve accounting-related queries.
Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
Identify accounting discrepancies and ensure timely corrective action.
Ensure compliance with applicable accounting policies, procedures and statutory requirements.
Maintain proper documentation and records of all financial transactions.
Coordinate with internal departments, vendors, customers and external professionals as required.
Supervise and guide junior accounting staff, where applicable.
Perform other finance and accounting responsibilities assigned by management.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce (B.Com) or a related field.
3–7 years of relevant accounting experience.
Solid knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Valuable working knowledge of GST and TDS.
Experience with Tally Prime / ERP / accounting software.
Solid proficiency in MS Excel, including formulas, Pivot Tables and data analysis.
Experience in bank, vendor and customer reconciliations.
Good understanding of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
Experience supporting audits and statutory compliance.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines independently.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
