Job Title: Pharmacy Billing Associate

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Pharmacy Billing Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for billing medical claims accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all federal and state regulations. As a Pharmacy Billing Associate, you will play a key role in supporting the organization’s financial operations and ensuring timely payment for services rendered to patients. Key Responsibilities:
Prescription Billing: Process and submit medical claims for healthcare services, including prescription medications, medical supplies, and other services provided to patients.
Insurance Verification: Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility for services, ensuring that all necessary information is provided to insurance providers.
Coding and Documentation: Accurately assign appropriate codes (ICD-10) for services rendered, ensuring compliance with all billing and coding guidelines.
Claim Follow-up: Track and follow up on unpaid or denied claims to ensure timely resolution,



including re-submitting claims and appealing denials when necessary.
Compliance and Regulation: Ensure adherence to all federal and state regulations, including HIPAA, in the handling of patient and insurance data.
Reporting: Prepare regular billing reports, track key performance metrics, and collaborate with management to improve processes and accuracy.
Collaboration: Work closely with staff, insurance companies, and third-party payers to resolve billing discrepancies and ensure accurate payment processing.

Qualifications:
Graduate(Fresher)
Robust attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical privacy practices.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle billing inquiries and issues efficiently.

Job Types: Full time, Fresher

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
