Design Engineer – Plumbing & Fire Fighting

Key Responsibilities
Design and engineering of Plumbing & Fire Fighting systems for residential, commercial, industrial and infrastructure projects.
Prepare design calculations, layouts, shop drawings, schematic diagrams and detailed engineering drawings.
Design domestic water supply, drainage, rainwater harvesting, sanitary and plumbing systems.
Design fire protection systems including hydrant, sprinkler, fire pump room, hose reel and fire water tank systems.
Perform hydraulic calculations, pipe sizing, pump selection and equipment sizing as per project requirements.
Prepare BOQ, material specifications and technical submittals.
Coordinate with Architecture, Structural, HVAC, Electrical and other MEP disciplines to resolve design and site-related issues.
Review drawings and ensure compliance with NBC, NFPA, IS codes and project/client specifications.
Coordinate with site teams, consultants and contractors for design clarifications, RFIs and technical issues.
Review shop drawings,



material submissions and as-built drawings.
Conduct design reviews and clash coordination with other disciplines.

Required Skills
5+ years of relevant experience in Plumbing & Fire Fighting design within Construction/EPC/MEP projects.
Bachelor Degree in Mechanical
Solid knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit MEP.
Experience in Hydraulic calculations and fire protection system design.
Knowledge of NBC, NFPA and relevant IS standards.
Positive understanding of MEP coordination and construction practices.
Ability to independently handle design deliverables and coordinate with project teams.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Pay: ₹11,443.36 - ₹60,000.00 per month
