We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef with expertise in Vegetarian cuisine to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in preparing traditional Indian vegetarian dishes and will be responsible for ensuring the timely and effective preparation of meals for both our B2B and B2C clients.
Requirements:
· Proven experience as a Chef in a catering or restaurant/cloud kitchen/catering environment.
· Experience and expertise in preparing Sattvik cuisine, with a solid understanding of its dietary principles and ingredient requirements.
· Knowledge of Indian cuisine and Chefing techniques.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
· Strong organizational and time management skills.
· Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
· Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Key Responsibilities:
· Prepare and cook a standard range of Indian dishes,
including curries and various vegetarian specialties.
· Expertly prepare Sattvic cuisine, adhering to the principles of Sattvic cooking which includes using pure, natural ingredients and avoiding tamasic and rajasic elements.
· Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest quality standards, maintaining consistency in taste and presentation.
· Manage kitchen operations, including ingredient preparation, and cooking.
· Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
· Collaborate with the kitchen team to plan and develop recent menu items.
· Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
· Work closely with the Head Chef and Manager to meet client expectations and requirements.
