Role & responsibilities
Preparation and review of P&ID;, PFD, and BFD for process design and modification projects.
Perform Material and Energy Balance calculations for recent and existing processes.
Solid understanding of Unit Operations and Unit Processes in the chemical manufacturing industry.
Participate in and lead HAZOP, HIRA, PSSR, RCA, and CAPA activities to ensure process safety and continuous improvement.
Design, evaluation, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of Heat Exchangers.
Preparation of CAPEX proposals, techno-commercial evaluations, project execution, and plant commissioning activities.
Conduct pilot plant trials, process validation, technology transfer, and scale-up from laboratory to commercial production.
Knowledge of selection, operation, and troubleshooting of Pumps and Agitators.
Perform Pipe Sizing calculations and select appropriate Materials of Construction (MOC) based on process requirements.
Utilize SAP for project tracking, maintenance coordination, material management, and documentation control.
