Responsibilities include:
Customer interaction: Understand requirements and translate business problems into technical solutions.
Hands-on coding: Build/customize applications, APIs, integrations, automation, or AI solutions.
Deployment: Take solutions from POC/prototype into production.
Integration: Connect the company's product with the customer's databases, APIs, cloud infrastructure, CRM/ERP, etc.
Troubleshooting: Debug production issues and resolve technical problems in the customer's workplace.
Product feedback: Take learnings from customers back to the core engineering/product teams.
End-to-end ownership: Often owns the journey from problem discovery through implementation and adoption.

Robust coding, commonly Python, Java, SQL, etc.




APIs and system integrations
Cloud: Azure / AWS / GCP
Backend or full-stack development
Databases and data pipelines
System design/debugging
For AI FDE roles: LLMs, RAG, AI/ML deployment, MLOps, vector databases can be particularly relevant
