Accounting Knowledge in ERP Platforms Job Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end payroll processing accurately and within defined timelines.
Review and validate payroll inputs including attendance, overtime, incentives, deductions, and employee advantages.
Process final settlements, leave encashments, bonuses, and other payroll-related transactions.
Prepare payroll journal entries and ensure accurate posting to the General Ledger.
Reconcile payroll accounts and investigate discrepancies for timely resolution.
Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
Prepare payroll reports and MIS for management review and decision-making.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including taxes, social security, provident fund, gratuity, and other applicable regulations.
Coordinate with internal and external auditors and provide required payroll documentation.




Maintain payroll records with strict confidentiality and data security.
Implement and monitor payroll controls to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Manage payroll systems and ERP platforms such as SAP.
Support payroll automation and process improvement initiatives.
Respond to employee payroll-related queries promptly and professionally.
Collaborate closely with HR, Finance, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth payroll operations.
Supervise and guide payroll team members, where applicable.

Preferred Candidate Profile
Solid knowledge of payroll accounting and statutory compliance.
Proficiency in SAP ERP and advanced Excel functions (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Reporting, Data Analysis).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Robust communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities
