Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver effective Economics lessons for Classes XI and XII.
Teach concepts of Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Indian Economy, and Statistics for Economics.
Prepare lesson plans, teaching resources, worksheets, assignments, and assessments.
Conduct periodic tests and examinations and evaluate student performance.
Provide academic support and individual attention to students where required.
Monitor students' academic progress and maintain appropriate records.
Prepare students for board examinations through revision, practice, and examination-oriented guidance.
Use appropriate teaching methodologies, activities, case studies, and real-world examples to make Economics concepts easier to understand.
Participate in parent-teacher meetings and communicate students' academic progress effectively.
Collaborate with the department/HOD in curriculum planning and academic activities.
Participate in school events, meetings, workshops, and other academic responsibilities.
Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning setting.





Required Skills
Solid knowledge of Economics at the senior secondary level.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Good classroom management skills.
Ability to explain complex economic concepts in a simple and practical manner.
Robust lesson planning and assessment skills.
Ability to use technology and digital resources for teaching.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to motivate and engage senior secondary students.

Educational Qualification
Master's Degree in Economics from a recognized university.
B.Ed. is mandatory/preferred as per school requirements.
Candidates with relevant CBSE senior secondary teaching experience will be preferred.

Preferred Experience
Experience teaching Economics for Classes XI and XII.
Experience in a CBSE school will be an advantage.
Candidates with experience preparing students for CBSE Board examinations will be preferred.
