Position: Sr. TechOps Engineer

We are looking for a Jira Administrator with solid TechOps fundamentals to architect and implement a centralized request management framework in Jira. The role requires hands-on experience with Jira administration, automation, and permissions, complemented by core TechOps skills essential for secure, reliable, and scalable system operations.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
Jira design and configuration: Design and configure a centralized landing page/dashboard in Jira for request intake.
Jira design and configuration: Create and manage Jira boards with tailored JQL filters.
Jira design and configuration: Manage custom workflows, issue types, fields, and screens to support the request lifecycle.
Automation and request routing: Develop and implement Jira Automation rules to direct requests based on defined routing criteria (e.g., components, labels).
Automation and request routing: Establish fallback and alert mechanisms for misrouted or failed automation flows.
Access and permissions: Define user roles and permission schemes for secure and scoped access across groups.

Set up board-level access controls and validate role-based restrictions.
System administration and governance: Perform system health checks, troubleshooting, and regular Jira maintenance.
