Vendor Relations Manager (VRM)

Key Responsibilities
Manage and grow strategic vendor relationships to drive revenue and profitability.
Analyze vendor, SKU, category, pricing, margin, and sales performance to identify growth opportunities.
Develop and execute vendor growth strategies covering pricing, rebates, assortment, current channels, and geographic expansion.
Lead commercial negotiations and secure improved pricing, terms, incentives, and business opportunities.
Build robust relationships with vendor owners, senior leaders, and key stakeholders.
Identify opportunities to expand product assortment, marketplaces, territories, and distribution.
Coordinate with internal teams including Pricing, Procurement, Supply Chain, Catalog, and Finance for execution.
Monitor vendor performance, inventory, profitability, service levels, and commercial risks.
Maintain accurate CRM records, account plans, and performance reports using Excel/dashboards.
Use AI and analytical tools for vendor research, business analysis, and workflow automation.
