Role & responsibilities
Lead and manage the Central Event Management Division and oversee all major university events.
Develop an annual event calendar in coordination with university leadership and academic and administrative departments.
Plan and execute national and international conferences, convocations, seminars, workshops, cultural festivals, exhibitions, and institutional ceremonies.
Coordinate with internal departments, faculty members, students, external agencies, sponsors, dignitaries, and industry partners.
Manage event budgets, resource allocation, procurement, vendor negotiations, and cost optimization.
Supervise event production, stage design, venue setup, audio-visual arrangements, lighting, hospitality, transportation, and logistics.
Ensure protocol management for VIPs,
government officials, international delegates, keynote speakers, and other distinguished guests.
Oversee branding, event promotion, publicity, digital communication, photography, videography, and media coordination in collaboration with relevant teams.
Establish standard operating procedures (SOPs), event checklists, reporting mechanisms, and quality standards.
Preferred candidate profile
Bachelor's degree
Typically 10- 15+ years of relevant experience, including substantial leadership experience in large-scale event management.
