About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Head to manage and oversee the complete accounting and finance function of the organization. The role involves end-to-end responsibility for account finalization, statutory compliance, taxation, team management, and financial reporting. The candidate will work closely with senior management and play a key role in financial planning and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Finalization

• Finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts in a timely manner

• Prepare Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Account, and Cash Flow

Statements

• Ensure timely closing of books of accounts

• Supervise bank reconciliations, ledger scrutiny, and general

accounting operations

• Monitor accounting entries, provisions, and adjustments

Taxation & Statutory Compliance

• Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory

requirements

• Review and file statutory returns within prescribed timelines

• Coordinate with auditors for statutory, tax, internal, and GST audits

• Handle tax assessments, notices, and queries in coordination with

consultants

• Ensure ROC and other regulatory compliances,



as applicable

Team Management

• Lead, mentor, and supervise the accounts team

• Allocate work responsibilities and review team output for accuracy

• Ensure smooth workflow and adherence to timelines

• Conduct periodic reviews and provide training and guidance to team

members

MIS, Budgeting & Financial Planning

• Prepare and present MIS reports, variance analysis, and financial

summaries

• Support management in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning

• Provide insights and analysis to support business decisions

• Monitor costs, expenses, and profitability

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Commerce / Finance

• CA Inter / MBA (Finance) preferred

• 813 years of relevant experience in core accounting and finance roles

• Robust knowledge of account finalization, taxation, and statutory

compliance

• Hands-on experience with Tally, Excel, and ERP/accounting software

• Solid leadership, analytical, and communication skills

• High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines under pressure
